After the family shoot I did with Blake and Lily, the hilltop in Challenger Park had quickly become my favorite spot to photograph in Simi Valley. Most of the day, this place is dismal, nothing more than a Dead Stick Field, however, during golden hour, these hills sing! Of course, I had to take Jerrid and Micaela there to photograph this mini session! At first I was disappointed because clouds rolled in and golden hour became all but one golden minute, but their friendship and love for each other was golden enough to make the bleak place look magical
