When Brian told Blake and me that he was going to propose, I immediately knew I had to be the one to photograph it. Upon talking through ideas with Brian, we decided to take photos before the engagement, during, and after as a celebration. When they arrived at location, it was hard for me to keep my excitement under wraps. I could hardly contain how much joy I had that one of my dearest friends was going to propose, and to one of the loveliest women! And the actual proposal? Absolutely magical! Actually being there, witnessing and photographing the proposal was completely humbling. I am still taken aback that I was able to be a part of such a raw and intimate moment. You see, this is what truly blows me away. This is why I photograph.
